Now in its 12th year, The Honor Connor 5k and Smile Mile is one of the largest (and happiest!) social gatherings in Dallas / Fort Worth, 1500+ runners, walkers and spectators gather to participate in a 5k run, a 1 mile walk and post-race SmileFest.

Proceeds benefit The LV Project, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to helping people LiVe and LoVe buoyantly. Through our WATER BUOYANCY projects, The LV Project raises awareness for drowning prevention with special focus on promoting the use of life vests on lakes. Through our LIFE BUOYANCY projects, we support non-profits and complete service projects that give people in need a lift in life.

Because the race is organized almost entirely by unpaid volunteers, more of your sponsor dollars go directly to our buoyancy mission.

Who attends?
The Honor Connor Run is one of the largest 5k races in DFW! 1500+ people come from all over the metroplex with concentration from the NRH / Keller / Mid-Cities areas. Families come for the fun. Serious runners come for the flat, scenic course and generous awards.
